Graphic Designer/ Editor/ Cameraman JAN. 2004-FEB. 2009
Duck Commander/Buck Commander West Monroe, LA
I started doing part-time contract work in January of 2004. In July I was hired full-time as their
Graphic Designer/Assistant Editor. Within only a few months, I was promoted to Head Editor. I then started helping film movies occasionally, as assistant cameramen. Three months later, I also became Head Cameraman for Duck Commander. I became a crucial part of a production team with my focus on Duck Commander, while I still worked closely with Buck Commander. One of the best skills I have to offer, is that I learn things very quickly and I am thorough. This job required organizational skills, people skills, meeting deadlines, leadership, extreme creativity and a good work ethic.
- Serve as field producer on hunting excursions making schedules for trips, setting up scenes, positioning hunters, and directions for filming.
- Work in an outdoor environment under extreme conditions. At times we are in weather of anywhere from -10 degrees to over 110 degrees. We have also been out filming during hurricanes Katrina, Gustav, and Ike.
- Worked with local and state government to interpret and comply with the laws of the land, hunting regulations, as well as make sure to inform all hunters with us of these laws. We also research conservation laws and efforts to maintain compliance with .
- Have worked along side such officials as Bobby Jindal (Governor of Louisiana) , and Senator John McCain who is on the Benelli TV Show promoting Duck Commander.
- Ran promotions throughout the year where we travel to conventions, outdoor sales events and Grand Openings to promote new products and equipment, Las Vegas Shot Show 2007, Ducks Unlimited Outdoor Festival and others.
- Was in charge of coming up with promotions in various avenues such as; movies, commercials, brochures, packaging, logos, web design, newspaper ads, hunting and outdoor conventions, banners, business cards, and flyers.
- Worked closely with Sponsors to develop lasting relationships. Some of the sponsors include; Benelli, Real Tree, Federal Ammunition and Sportsman’s Warehouse.
- Performed some office work such as answering phones, taking phone orders, accepting credit card sales, basic customer service, shipping and returns.
- Work to organize and maintain the warehouse, camera equipment, hunting gear and promotional signs and products while in storage.
- Helped teach the annual Duck Commander Videographer School with 10+ students.
- Multi-tasked between filming, editing, working in the office, traveling, and marketing.
- Did some minor construction for maintenance of Duck Commander Properties, land clearing, building duck blinds, constructing fences, planting food plots for wildlife, etc.

Warehouse Shipping AUG. 2000-MAY 2004

I have learned valuable computer skills, part of my job was to input information into data forms, process all packages leaving our warehouse, process returns, pull and pack orders, and fix anything that went wrong technically. I learned to work with others to get an item shipped on time. I was a dedicated hard-working employee for nearly four years. This job commands great attention to detail, organizational skills, heavy lifting, good memory, and social skills.
- Supervised up to 3 employees.
- Worked closely with Warehouse Manager, who was also part owner.
- Used a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight trucks.
- Developed a functional floor plan to make the warehouse more efficient and safe.
- Used data entry skills to make labels for order shipping and maintain invintory.
- Fulfilled customer orders for books, handled returns, varify invoices and restocking.
- General maintenance of building, organizing warehouse, cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, etc.

Harding University Food Court Searcy, AR
- Supervised 5 restaurants at the Harding University food court for Chick-fil-a, Burger King, TCBY, Deli, Starbucks with 2-3 employees in each and up to 15 employees at a time.
- Was required to learn and train employees in all aspects of each establishment.
- Learned and performed all recipes and tasks.
- Supervised time sheets, employees clocking in and out, daily maintenance of equipment, organized and stock ingredients for kitchens.
- Dealt with customers daily and filled in when employees were late or absent. Handled complaints and at times took orders and ran register.
- Organized supplies to prepare for openings and closings.
- Lead by example, if my employees had to do it then so did I.
- Won a plaque and a jacket for 100% cleanliness, freshness and supplies in stock, after a surprise semi-annual inspection. Received this three times while I was supervisor and scored best in region for Southern Arkansas.
